Jay Inslee does not have a record of accomplishments he can run for re-election on and—like everyone else who has been paying attention the last four years—his campaign knows it. That’s why our green governor’s campaign is resorting to the only strategy it has: hyper-negative attacks.
Inslee is attempting to generate some enthusiasm from the far-Left by invoking Donald Trump. He has tried to rally supporters by pledging he would get “Trump-style” politics out of Washington State.
Ironically, getting “Trump-style” politics out of our state would require Inslee leaving. The truth is that Inslee is the only candidate engaging in the hyper-negative attack politics in the governor’s race. It’s Inslee who outlandishly stated, “I am going to build a wall around Washington to keep Scott Walker and Donald Trump out of Washington.”
Inslee is struggling to garner any type of momentum for his campaign. Now is the time to continue exposing Inslee as a weak, ineffective leader.
