The Daily Shift – 02/16/16

Starting the day at 8:30 a.m., exercising during regular work hours, and meeting with powerful people who make his political career possible, these are just a couple of routine ways Jay Inslee “works” on behalf of Washingtonians. We have his schedule to prove it. In other news, Sound Transit demonstrated a gross lack of respect for transparency when officials decided to sit on information relevant to voters for six weeks. Also, one Democrat candidate in the race for longtime U.S. Rep. Jim McDermott’s seat already isn’t doing as well as the others. Finally, we have a couple of questions we would like Democrat U.S. Rep. Suzan DelBene to answer (given a certain upcoming interview).
