Jay Inslee is pushing ahead with his new carbon reduction regulatory rules—rules he thinks he can impose on the state using executive authority. So, in honor of our green governor, we’re asking the simple question, “How many carbon credits will Jay have to buy?” In other news, ecology released its proposal for a new clean water rule and the formal draft is similar to the policy Inslee outlined in the fall. Meanwhile, Democrats sent out a rather ironic press release applauding the House approval of a bill that claims to close the education opportunity gap. And, liberal billionaire and Democrat financier Nick Hanauer once promised to push a $16 minimum wage in 2016. So, is his plan still in the works?
