The City of Seattle believes that it is taxpayer money well spent to give someone $10,000 to live part time in the Fremont Bridge’s northwest tower and write poetry. So, we made a list of locations Seattle should consider in the future for artists to sit and write poetry/paint/compose…. all on the taxpayers’ dime, of course. In other news, in order to get the investigation into the prisoner release scandal moving, lawmakers retained an attorney to help. Also, there are quite a few state House Democrats who are vulnerable in 2016, and it looks like Washington Democrats are worried. Speaking of House Democrats, the question of how Frank Chopp will react to the charter school bill remains uncertain.
