Last week, the 2016 legislative session officially kicked off. And, as we predicted, Democrat lawmakers are already pushing for a state income tax. It took less than one week for Democrats to begin reintroducing their various state income tax proposals.
Of course, Democrats’ actions came as no real surprise. They are doing what they do every legislative session – abiding by their state party’s platform, and what they call their “guiding principle.”
