Troy Kelley must be a glutton for punishment – or at least like appearing on the same ballot as Jay Inslee. The disgraced Democrat State Auditor has decided to return to office – and the state payroll – after winning a pyrrhic “victory” over the federal government in an initial court case decided last week.
At least , that’s the news today from Crosscut.
As Shift reported, Kelley is swimming upstream in his multi-count court case with the feds. And, after waiting to ensure his seat would remain in Democrat hands until 2016, Democrats like Inslee have tried to slide away from the liberal colleague who was on their ticket in 2012.

Inslee tried to move away from Kelley a bit quicker today – now that it doesn’t matter before the next election – in a press release. Evidently he was looking for something to do after he returned from his lack of a role at the U.N. Global warming.
