Washington’s Democrat Rep. Adam Smith spent his time questioning former Secretary State Hillary Clinton as a member of the Benghazi committee by grossly pandering to Clinton and bashing fellow members of the Benghazi committee. He proved himself unconcerned with acquiring answers to any question what so ever. In short, Smith thoroughly discredited himself as a representative worth any merit.

Rep. Trey Gowdy had a perfect response to Smith’s ridiculous statements, offering the Democrat a copy of his opening statement detailing all the information uncovered by the committee that Smith’s previous committee somehow—mysteriously—missed. GOP Rep. Lynn Westmoreland follow-up by implying that Smith never took the committee seriously by informing the public that the Democrat had previously attended a total of one hour of questioning.
